Flying the nest

It has been very difficult choosing which pup to keep back, so I was pleased when Graham popped over to give his opinion, and fortunately liked the same two as me. I have chosen puppy number nine, who is the second of the “Vile Sisters”, nicknamed thus because they are always in the thick of any trouble. This pup is always one of the first to come when I call, and seems to enjoy interacting with me, as well as being the first to sniff the air when I start cooking our dinner, so I am looking forward to some one to one with her when her siblings have left.
Four of the puppies have now gone to their new homes. It’s not just me that has had a job to choose a pup, and I’ve had some lovely comments about the whole litter being very even and switched on. The pups are pretty good about popping outside for the toilet, so I’ve had some gentle teasing about selling them part trained, but a lot of how they are is down to having highly intelligent parents.
